Timed lock
The box unlocks by itself when the time is up, also if this page is closed. The user always sees that a timer is set; hidden or not, only the unlock time itself.

Controller key
Write the backup key down somewhere safe. If this browser loses it, nobody can lock or unlock the box from the web any more (the user's emergency unlock still works).
